Taxpayers with incomes between $75,000 and $250,000 will receive a phased benefit with a maximum payment of $250. Those households can get up to an additional $250 if they have eligible dependents.
Eligible recipients who received Golden State Stimulus payments by direct deposit should have seen their Middle Class Tax Refund deposited between October 7 and October 25. All remaining direct deposits were slated to occur between October 28 and November 14.
If you received your California stimulus payments by debit card, youll also receive the Middle Class Tax Refund by debit card between October 24 and December 10. Remaining debit card payments will be sent by January 14, 2023.

A new guaranteed income program in Virginia will pay hundreds of Americans $500 every month for two years.
Applications for the ARISE program in Alexandria, Virginia, started to be accepted starting on October 31, according to organizers.
The lottery will choose 170 persons at random, per officials, and applications can be filed until November 9.
The first check is anticipated to be sent in January 2023, and the successful candidates will receive installments totaling $500 for 24 months.
There are no restrictions, so beneficiaries are free to use the funds any way they see fit.
Residents have been informed that they must be at least 18 years old and earn no more than 50 percent of the Area Median Income.

The IRS has confirmed that the stimulus check payment will NOT be offset or intercepted for those owe tax, have a payment agreement or owe other federal or state debts. It will however be OFFSET for past-due child support.
This is because a court order for child support continues until it is modified or terminated. Similarly with unemployment compensation stimulus increases, your child support may be withheld from the UI payments. You will get a notice from BFS if this happens.
Minnesota: $488 Payments For Frontline Workers
Some frontline workers received a one-time payment of $488 in October, thanks to a bill signed by Gov. Tim Walz in early May.
Eligible workers must have worked at least 120 hours in Minnesota between March 15, 2020, and June 30, 2021, and werent eligible for remote work.

The federal government successfully sent three rounds of stimulus checks while various states were able to legislate cash to citizens as well.
However, as inflation soars, higher monthly expenses are draining out the bank accounts of Americans.
Add that to the fact that most stimulus programs are ending or have expired.
Prices are up more than 9% compared to the same time last year, as categories including groceries, gas, utilities, and more have been affected.
In particular, inflation has hit older Americans hard.
Third Stimulus Check Under Biden Covid Relief Package
Under the now passed $1.9 Trillion Biden COVID Relief Package there are provisions included for another round of stimulus checks. The amounts will be $2800 for couples, $1400 for single adults and $1400 for each eligible dependent per the final bill crafted by the Congressional Democrats.
Based on the income qualification levels, nearly 85 percent of American households would receive a full or partial stimulus payment under the Biden plan. A typical couple with two children making $100,000 annually would receiving about $5,600 with this third round of stimulus check payments.
The full payment will be made to singles filers making less than $75,000 and couples earning less than $150,000 in adjusted gross income . Phase out limits to get a partial stimulus payment are also shown in the table below. To get the dependent check you need to qualify for the adult stimulus payment, and the payment would be sent to the adult recipient claiming the dependent.

How Are States Responding To Inflation
Due to this, several states have approved stimulus checks to help their residents deal with the ravages of the economic crisis.
These include California, which announced that the first batch of payments that range in value from $200 to $1,050 will go out on 7 October 2022. The second rebate is a property tax rebate, available for residents making $250,000 or less . The rebate is equal to the property tax credit you qualified to claim on your tax return, up to a maximum of $300.
The state started issuing rebates the week of September 12 it will take several months to issue them all, according to the Illinois Department of Revenue.

Low-income residents of The Windy City have been given stimulus checks at random. You read that right. Chicago will give out $500 checks to 5,000 people each month throughout 2022. Theyll be selected at random for this stimulus lottery.20
Like Chicago, LA is handing out payments to low-income residents for a year. Their program, called BIG:LEAP, will give 3,200 randomly chosen people $1,000 each month.21
Pittsburghs program is called the Assured Cash Experiment and gives 200 low-income residents $500 each monthfor two years. The program will spend $2.5 million on lower-income zip codes.22
The close-by neighbors of LA are getting a stimulus program of their own called the Revive Santa Ana Resident Stimulus Program. It will give out $6 million to neighborhoods that fall below the poverty level in Santa Ana. Payments of $300 will be loaded onto prepaid debit cards and given out door to door to about 20,000 residents.23
Seattle has one of the more generous payouts on the list. The Seattle Relief Fund is a $16 million program that gives payments of $1,0003,000 to low-income residents of the Emerald City.24
